His in-depth engineering knowledge paired with a strong service-oriented thinking gets you the best IP strategy possible
As an engineer, Felix Briza seeks to achieve sustainable value for his clients by understanding their inventions down to the underlying physical principles and translating them correctly into the patent world.
While working with clients from various technical fields and different regions of the world – including Japan, Korea, the United States and Europe, Felix enjoys working with each client individually to find the best solution to protect and manage their intellectual property interests in Europe, especially in view of challenging case law, strategic needs, as well as demanding budgets.
Prior to joining HOFFMANN EITLE back in 2017, Felix studied medical engineering and mechanical engineering with specialization in biocompatible materials, polymer engineering and fiber-reinforced composites at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) and with a SEMP scholarship at the École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL).
Felix wrote his final thesis in cooperation with the BMW Group and AIRBUS SAS within the scope of a MAI Carbon Cluster research project at the Chair of Carbon Composites of the TUM and gained in-dept practical experience in the field of robotics and medical imaging technology.
Felix enjoys hitting the trails with his mountain bike in summer as well as slashing deep powder turns on his (various) skies in winter.
