Interim Junior Business Analyst

For our office in: Munich

This is a fixed-term position for a minimum of 3 days per week for 6 months in a freelance capacity.

Your Tasks

As a Junior Business Analyst you will assist with the gathering and analysis of business requirements and business processes for the transformation project, Fit-For-The-Future. You will work within the project team to ensure your tasks are completed in line with the agreed timescales. Your main responsibilities will include: 

  • Provide assistance and support for the definition of the “To Be” operational processes and procedures including supporting workshops.
  • Assist with ensuring that Business Requirements are fully developed and documented e.g. functional, non-functional, technical and reporting requirements
  • Assist with analysing the Business Requirements, with appropriate engagement from the business departments including the review of current processes and data sources
  • Analysis of proposed solutions, in light of business requirements
  • Work with third-party supplier business analysts and technical teams, as appropriate
  • Challenge the business to propose alternative ways-of working in order to increase efficiency, quality and throughput 

Your Qualifications

  • Fluent German and English skills are desirable.
  • Studying or interested in a relevant subject, such as business administration, process analysis, business information or computing systems.
  • Experience in a law firm or the legal sector is an advantage. 
  • Knowledge of project and analysis techniques and supporting tools for requirement definition and documentation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral).
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
