Interim Junior Business Analyst

This is a fixed-term position for a minimum of 3 days per week for 6 months in a freelance capacity.
Your Tasks
As a Junior Business Analyst you will assist with the gathering and analysis of business requirements and business processes for the transformation project, Fit-For-The-Future. You will work within the project team to ensure your tasks are completed in line with the agreed timescales. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Provide assistance and support for the definition of the “To Be” operational processes and procedures including supporting workshops.
- Assist with ensuring that Business Requirements are fully developed and documented e.g. functional, non-functional, technical and reporting requirements
- Assist with analysing the Business Requirements, with appropriate engagement from the business departments including the review of current processes and data sources
- Analysis of proposed solutions, in light of business requirements
- Work with third-party supplier business analysts and technical teams, as appropriate
- Challenge the business to propose alternative ways-of working in order to increase efficiency, quality and throughput
Your Qualifications
- Fluent German and English skills are desirable.
- Studying or interested in a relevant subject, such as business administration, process analysis, business information or computing systems.
- Experience in a law firm or the legal sector is an advantage.
- Knowledge of project and analysis techniques and supporting tools for requirement definition and documentation.
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral).
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
