Gianluca focuses on attention to detail and precision – because accuracy makes the difference
Gianluca has been working as a patent attorney since 2005 with leading Italian patent law firms. He has special expertise in the field of mechanical and aerospace engineering, as well as in automotive, energy and packaging technology. Among other things, Gianluca assists Far Eastern and European clients mainly in drafting and prosecuting applications in Europe and Italy, handling opposition cases before the EPO, drafting patentability opinions and technical opinions relating to nullity and infringement actions in Italy and abroad.
From 2014 to 2018, Gianluca was a member of the examining board for the European qualifying examination for European patent attorneys (EQE).
Gianluca studied Aerospace Engineering at the Politecnico di Milano, specializing in aerospace propulsion systems. He obtained a Master’s degree (laurea) in 2004, with a thesis on the formulation and characterisation of solid propellants based on aluminium and ammonium nitrate for space launchers in a program to reduce the environmental impact of space launchers.
In his spare time Gianluca enjoys baking cakes and taking pictures.
