The first special issue of the "Journal of Japanese Law", edited by Dr. Harald Baum, head of the Japan Unit at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law, and Prof. Dr. Moritz Bälz, holding the chair for Japanese Law at the Goethe University Frankfurt, presents the fundamentals of the Japanese law of patents and utility models, written by leading German legal experts. The authors are attorneys-at-law and a (prospective) patent attorney of HOFFMANN EITLE.
