Peter's technical focus is wireless communications, mainly standard essential telecommunications. Further technical fields comprise medical devices, circuits, and computer implemented inventions, including control-algorithms.
His daily work consists mainly of examination proceedings before the European Patent Office or the German Patents and Trademarks Office for multi-national client's, including conducting oral proceedings before the European Patent Office.
In addition, he handles opposition proceedings before the European Patent Office and provides support in litigation proceedings.
Peter also has experience in drafting and prosecuting patent applications for individual inventors, small companies, academic institutions and multinational companies.
He grew up in Cologne, studied physics in Berlin and started his career as a patent attorney at HOFFMANN EITLE's Munich office in 2017. Outside of work, Peter enjoys spending time with his family and friends, reading good books, eating out, exercising and switching off with the occasional nap.
