HOFFMANN EITLE KALENDER
Tradition and innovation
Art should never stay out of sight. This is why HOFFMANN EITLE began publishing an annual calendar in 1990 with the watercolors, drawings and paintings of Dr. Klaus Hoffmann. Klaus Hoffmann, grandson of the founder of our firm and himself a patent attorney and a partner in our firm from 1963 to 1993, also had a real passion for art and in particular painting. The calendar showing his art work was so popular with our clients that we continued publishing calendars with more of his work until 2010.
Dr. Hoffmann's love of art has left its impact on our firm such that creativity and aesthetics are an important component of our thinking and our work. Since this involves innovation and progress and both thrive on new ideas, we decided in 2011 to try a thoroughly new concept with our traditional calendar.
Our idea was to provide young artists of the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich with an opportunity to show their work to a wider public. The 13 pictures you will find in our annual calendars since 2011 have been selected from among the many excellent works, each year created by students from a class of one professor at the Academy of Fine Arts Munich (AdbK München). The professors themselves being well-known contemporary artists in Europe (with different concepts used in 2021 and 2022 due to the Covid pandemic).
The artists use different subject matter, styles and design techniques to illustrate their views and interpretations of our still young 21st century.
