A goal-oriented engineer with a systematic approach
Giulia Siciliano is a mechanical engineer, training to become a German and European patent attorney in HOFFMANN EITLE’s mechanical engineering practice group. Since joining the firm in 2023, she has mainly worked on patent prosecution and patent drafting for US, Japanese and European clients in various technical fields such as medical devices, automotive technology, artificial intelligence for facility optimization, and production technology, to name some examples.
Giulia obtained her B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in mechanical engineering with a focus on thermodynamics and automatic controls at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, where she was awarded for being in the top 5 % of the students. Between 2018 and 2023, Giulia was responsible as a research associate at the Technical University of Munich for two research and development projects in collaboration with German companies respectively for the development of an automated warehouse (see Link), and of an artificial intelligence-based warehouse software (see Link). Through these experiences, she developed a systematic approach to shape unstructured situations for achieving short- and long-term objectives within the required time, resources, and quality parameters.
Having a degree in opera singing and piano performance, Giulia enjoys playing her favourite operas on the piano with her friends of the opera society in her free time.
