Juliet Redhouse is a partner in HOFFMANN EITLE’s biotechnology practice group. She is experienced in a wide range of technical areas, including vaccine technology and manufacture, peptide-based medicines, personalised medicine, gene therapy and molecular diagnostics. Juliet has particular expertise in the area of antibody technology.
Juliet has extensive experience in examination, opposition and appeal proceedings at the EPO, as well as drafting, prosecution and management of global patent portfolios. Juliet also advises clients on infringement, validity and freedom to operate matters.
Juliet has repeatedly been recognised in the Legal500 and IAM 1000 directories for her exceptional legal abilities, scientific knowledge and client engagement. She comes recommended for “being an extremely effective counsel in high-stakes opposition and appeal proceedings at the EPO. She is highly strategic, thoughtful and easily integrates into the client’s team."
Juliet has a first class master’s degree in Natural Sciences, specialising in genetics, from the University of Cambridge and has a PhD in molecular genetics from the same university. Juliet entered the patent profession in 2011 and qualified as a European Patent Attorney and a Chartered Patent Attorney in 2014. Juliet joined HOFFMANN EITLE in 2024 after four years as a partner at another top-tier firm.
