Florian Dietzler advises national and international companies in the field of mechanical engineering, particularly in obtaining technical intellectual property rights and in opposition and appeal proceedings. His technical expertise includes automotive engineering, energy technology, medical technology, general mechanics, battery technology, and packaging technology.

Before entering the field of intellectual property law in 2017, he studied mechanical engineering at RWTH Aachen University with a focus on energy technology. During his studies, he gained practical experience at Siemens AG in compressor development, at the Institute for Automotive Engineering (ika) at RWTH Aachen, and at FEV GmbH, where he also wrote his master's thesis on diesel engine development.

Florian began his training as a patent attorney in 2017 at a renowned patent law firm in Düsseldorf, and qualified as a German patent attorney and a representative before the European Patent Office in 2021. In early 2024, he joined the Düsseldorf team of König Szynka Tilmann von Renesse (KSVR), which merged with HOFFMANN EITLE in early 2025.

In his free time, Florian enjoys playing tennis, skiing in the mountains during winter, and traveling.
