Philipp Zambelli has been working as an attorney and mediator in our Patent Litigation and Licensing and Mediation practice groups since April 2024.
In addition to his law studies at the University of Bayreuth and the Università degli Studi di Verona, he was able to deepen his understandings of the natural sciences through his additional studies in technical sciences (technikwissenschaftliches Zusatzstudium – TeWiZ). He worked as a student research assistant at the Emerging Field “Innovation and Consumer Protection” and at the chair of Prof. Dr. Schmidt-Kessel (Consumer Law and Comparative Law). His interest in patent law and intellectual property was reflected in his choice of specialization during his studies (“Intellectual Property and Competition”), as well as in the elective stage of his legal clerkship (“Business”) at a major international law firm in Nuremberg. He supplemented his specialist knowledge during his legal clerkship by a training as a commercial mediator (Munich training program).
Outside the office, Mr. Zambelli trains karate, he holds the 1st Dan in Shotokan Karate, enjoys reading and taking part in OCR races.
